I'm back with another post to share some beautiful scenery of our local area!
Welcome to North Fork Sauk Falls. To get to this trail from Verlot take the Mountain Loop Hwy east for 17 miles to Sloan Creek RD. and turn left. Follow the road for 1 mile to the trail head on the right.
The spectacular falls are about 45 ft.
The trail to the falls is short and a very easy hike for families with kids
What am I talking about? Okay, the trail is a short and easy hike for Mom's. :) It is only 0.2 miles and is down hill to the falls. 
Of course it is 0.2 miles up hill on the way out :) Don't worry if I can do it anyone can do it!
When you reach the falls there is a bench to sit on so you can sit there and enjoy the falls and eat lunch if you like.
There are lots of places to pull off the road and enjoy the river too!
