This is one of a series titled The annual MCAS Miramar Air Show takes place in just a couple of weeks, October 1-3. This year is celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima with a theme of Marines: A Tradition of Uncommon Valor. Cost is always free although you can get preferred seating and various special packages for anywhere from $8.50 to $195. Gates open daily at 8:00 a.m., although I highly suggest getting there earlier because there will be a line of cars waiting to get in. The 2007 Miramar Air Show was voted the World's Best Military Air Show by the International Council of Air Shows. This year's show will feature the Navy's Blue Angels and the Canadian Snowbirds, two of the best precision flying teams. As I said previously, get there early because this is one of San Diego's premier events with several hundred thousands of people attending. Hi Jim, we could have been cruising tonight. Guess things happen for a reason. Listed two houses instead of seeing San Diego.
We have seen the Snowbirds several times, they are amazing, try to go and see them.
My girlfriend and I went Saturday because we wanted to go to the twilight show. The whole day was awesome but we ran out of sunscreen.
Al & Peggy - Things usually do happen for a reason. Congratulations on the two listings. I'm working with two buyers right now and it looks like I'll have another listing here shortly. I actually don't do too many listings because the resources to properly market the property are front-loaded. I think the buyer's side is easier to work, as long as you can find those buyers somewhere. Fortunately, most of my buyers lately have been finding me courtesy of my ActiveRain blog posts about the condominium communities. I just need to get to the point where I can do more of them in a shorter time period. And I did see the Snowbirds. And I thought of you two each time they flew by.
Bryan - My husband wanted to go Saturday but it just seemed like the day would be too long. Maybe next year we'll go to half on one day and the other half on the other day.
