HOME STAGING PROFESSIONALS IMPROVE LIVES THROUGH NON-PROFIT IAHSP FOUNDATION
August 27, 2007: The International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) Foundation is launching the 3rd annual World Wide Staging Service Week, September 9th - 16th, 2007. The Dallas IAHSP Regional Chapter (DIRC) is "set to stage" Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity's common community areas. Members of DIRC will be transforming the common areas of Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity offices for the benefit of all clients, guests and employees of the organization who visit this facility. A children's area, a reading nook and a warm inviting seating area are just a few of the changes in store. In addition to the community center, DIRC will also "stage to dwell" the home of a recent Habit for Humanity homeowner. This will include ASP staging services as well as providing furnishings and accessories for their home. A cash donation to the Ronald McDonald House is also being made by DIRC.
Members of IAHSP around the US and Canada will come together during this week to help local organizations and individuals in their communities who are in need of Staging services. Places such as nursing homes, schools, women's shelters and individuals in need of selling their homes are potential candidates to be staged.
IAHSP is comprised of 125 local chapters and approximately 2,000 Accredited Staging Professionals (ASPs). IAHSP is the Home Staging Industry's professional association recognized as the voice of home Staging and sets the benchmark for excellence in the hottest trend in real estate. ASPs will volunteer their time, talents and personal resources to work for the betterment of the communities that they serve and transitively enhance the quality of lives through service to others.
Barb Schwarz, Creator of Home Staging, President and Founder of StagedHomes.com, Founder and President of IAHSP the IAHSP Foundation and the World Wide Staging Service Week said, "It is with great enthusiasm and joy that we give back to the communities that we live and work in." Schwarz has coined the phrase "Think globally, act locally through the world of Home Staging" to be the theme for the Worldwide Staging Service Week. Schwarz pioneered the concept of Home Staging in 1972 and since 1985 has taught over 1,000,000 real estate agents and professional home Stagers her Staging principles. Schwarz added, "Through the magical power of Staging we create beauty, reduce stress and improve the value of Real Estate and lives."
