Julie Vosmik

Welcome to Ralph's Weekly Feature: Two Truths and a Lie: Guess Which One Is The Lie?

Each week, I'm going to feature one Active Rain Member, with their photo, and what they are going to do is tell you 2 Truths about them and 1 Lie.

The object of the game is to guess which of the 3 bits of trivia about them is a lie!

I will post the answer in that same blog at the end of the week on Fridays so you can all find out!

It's a great way to get to know your fellow Active Rain members and staff.

This week, we will be featuring: Julie Vosmik

Julie is an agent in Arizona, specializing in Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree and north/northeast Phoenix residential real estate.

OK, Here goes:

I've had 2 holes-in-one in golf.

I've been scuba diving with over 100 sharks and wasn't in a shark cage.

I spent a week with the aborigines in Australia.

OK, gang. Tell me which one is the lie!

Remember, for those members who guess the most amount of correct lies at the end of the month, you will be awarded 1,500 Bonus Points! If there is a tie, each member who ties will be awarded 1,000 Bonus Points!

(Also, for those of you who would like to be featured, let me know, send me your 2 Truths And a Lie without telling me which is the lie and I will put you on the list - remember! make them good ones!)

Since I've done #2 -  it's totally believable - I'm going with #1.  She did #3 while diving the Great Barrier Reef - makes sense, right?  ;-)

OK, I think she did #2 and #3 on the same trip to Australia.  (It obviously wasn't in Arizona!)  So #1 is the lie!

#1 will be my pick this week since it seems to be too tame compared to the others. But does logic work in this game? It hasn't so far (for me).

My guess is #1.  It is out of character with the other two.

I'm going with #3.  I've had 2 holes-in-one.  Granted, it was on a minature golf course, but still....

I so love the "logic" that goes into thinking in this game.  I have to say, some of you have given me way too much credit.

I'm just checking in.  How pathetic am I.  I am horrified at how competitive I can be.

This is getting complicated. I will go with #2, it is risky to swim with sharks.

Time for the reveal.  This has been SO MUCH FUN - I just love all the comments and thoughts.

1.  I have had two holes in one in golf - one in Wisconsin at a municipal course called Storms Golf.  Since Storms is my maiden name, I guess it was just fate.  Fortunately, being a municipal course, they don't sell alcohol so that after round buy was relatively inexpensive.  The 2nd was at a charity event that I was co-chairing here in Phoenix.  I was paired up with the president of my company - now that was fun to hold over his head.  My contribution to the event already was the kegs of beer, but I dogged everyone to still pay for their beers because it was a charity event.

2.  In the Bahamas, they have numerous shark dives.  The one I took was at the "ledge."  The divemasters "chummed" for tuna and caught about 60 yellow fin tuna, cut them up into bite sized pieces, threw that overboard and we all jumped in.  Gotta watch your buoyancy on this dive because the "ledge" or "shelf" drops to over 12,000 feet.  It was a little unnerving at first, but, by the end of the dive, I was hanging on to their tails and letting them take me for a ride.  I was a dolphin training assistant for a year and figured I'd go for it.  The divemasters called me LOCA!!!!

As an ex-scuba instructor, that's how I knew about your heat stroke situation, Ralph.

3.  Australia has always been my dream trip - I've never been there but that's one trip I will take - some day.  And, I love to learn about different cultures - what better way than to spend time with the natives.

So, #3 was the lie.

Ralph, thank you for picking me and I can't wait to see next week's profile.  I've enjoyed playing on both sides of this game, but, more importantly, I'm enjoying getting to know such great people here in  activerain.

Have a great weekend, everyone and catch you on next week's game!!
