Name That Photo - Monday Morning Mystery

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Real Estate Centre Inc., Brokerage

It's been awhile since I have submitted a photo to the Name That Photo group.  When I snapped this photo this past weekend I thought it would make a great entry.

This photo is an extreme closeup of the subject in question.  I'm not going to give any clues up front as I want some pie in the sky guesses.

What is the first thing that pops into your mind when you look at this photo?  Who knows, your thought may be the correct answer.

Give it your best guess and I will come back later with a clue or two. (Well, if it's necessary that is?)

Name that photo

Jenny, the first thing came to me was an one eyed alien creature, haha.  I know it was wrong. But you asked to name what was the first thing came to our mind, haha.  I give up!

Very creative guesses everyone.  Some of you are on the right track.

Rita believe it or not you are on the right track.  Too funny.  This piece actually does only have one eye but what I have photographed is not the eye.

Hmm, I wonder what it is.  Here is a photo of the one eye lol.  You will have to guess what the original photo is a closeup of.

Jenny, I'm getting to this a day late, and maybe a few dollars short, but the first comment appears to be right on the money. Interesting

Hahaha Barrie, you cheated.  Too funny.  Well I don't know what the heck she is but she graces the front wall of the Stratford Gallery.

Rita, Barrie guess right but he found a photo I had taken and put on Flickr.

Marc, I tried to do some research on the origin of this art piece but didn't have any luck.

Yes Ed, it is indeed a navel/belly button.  Very interesting piece of art.

Here she is in all her glory.  Maybe we really should name the photo.  What shall we call her?

How about Mary Jane? The original photo made me think of a belly button but I thought that was too bizarre.

I am late for guessing. When it comes to the name.... hm. The lower part looks like an upside down fur tree. Maybe "My Furry Cyclop"?

Hi Maria, see you should have gone with your "gut" reaction lol.  Mary Jane is good.  I think someone was smoking some Mary Jane when they created her.  Sorry that's bad.

Rita you did so good!!!  Very unique.  Wish I could find more about it but I googled and couldn't find anything.

Steve, nope no bacon here I'm afraid.  Did you know there is a group on AR called Canadian Bacon?  And Sergio is looking for a new photo for the group profile pic.

Hi Barrie, I will have to check out Kathy's post.  Or did I already?  Can't remember so will go back.  Funny how you spotted her.  I forgot I put her on Flickr first.

Hi Chris, I can see how the bumps would put you off.  It was a toughie.  I have a couple others I took the other day so will do a post soon.

Hi Nick, well she must be pretty special to be gracing the outside wall of the Gallery in Stratford.  There was another very strange piece of art that I will post another day.

Ally you are so right.  The bottom does look like an upside down Christmas tree.  Too funny.

Oh John, try to say that fast 5 times.  Yikes what a mouthful lol.
