I guess my biggest question here is why the State has been so slow to act? And then why have the Falcons failed to fire him so far?

Obviously his guilt or innocence is no longer in doubt. What he did was cruel and inhumane and of course illegal. Magically he has found god and I guess my only real surprise is that he hasn't put himself into rehab which seems to be a celebrity's answer for anything.

Personally I feel he should actually do five years. Anyone else?

We're not fans, but we think a year is enough. With heavy public service and major multiple-million dollar donations to charities that benefit animals. Make him to do some good. Some real good. And then tie that into redemption, or not. Thats's better than sitting around more.

As I was listening to the statement Vick made this morning, my stomach turned.  He's "sorry" and has learned a lot about making decisions and hopes he can be an "example" to kids on decision making.  Are you kidding me?  People that are good examples are people that make good decisions in the beginning, not because they're caught.  How would a fine "punish" someone that is worth millions?  He should serve hard time, not community service.  Community service is for people who want to make a positive impact in the world, not criminals.

I think the ONLY thing he's sorry for is that he got caught!
