Who Sells the "BEST" Leads???

By
Real Estate Agent with The Property Shop International Realty 262395

Last year I spent several thousand dollars on some leads?  I am being sent all kinds of e-mails with different companies trying to sell me leads.  Help me out?  Which companies provide quality leads?  I want a blend of buyers and sellers for my area here in Georgia.  Help me out??

I use House Values, there are some crappy leads as they do not weed through them.  I have closed enough deals to pay for it over and over again, so I works for me.  But I do know others and they didn't like it at all. I really like that they are exclusive leads, and I like their account manager.  I have tried a few others, but this is the one I like best right now. It'll be interesting to see what others are really out there.

The best leads, are those which are generated by you.

Going to someone else an trying to buy them is just continuing down the path of making yourself a commodity in the consumers mind, something to be used and thrown away.  It is companys like House Values, Homegain and others which very much want the consumer to think that way as well.

If I were you, I would save your money.  House Values gets the leads that they do get by tricking the public into giving their information to House Values.  Then you get to call these people and they never wanted a Realtor to call them in the first place.

These numbers are about a year old, the churn rate is even higher now.

According to the SEC filings on HouseValues, their churn rate, which measures the rate at which subscribers cancel, ranges from 6 to 6.5% per month. Essentially, 72% to 78% of its customer base cancels its subscription every year. This does not speak well of the HouseValues product. It could be that its questionable marketing tactics, the high customer (agent) churn rates, and the importance and validity of such sites as Zillow will soon catch up to Housevalues.com.

And there is much more out there.  Do yourself a big favor and stay far far away.

And No I have not used HouseValues.com or any of their other sites.  I have known a few people who have, and boy did they wish they had never heard of the company.

I tried homegain for 3 months.  It was a total waist of time and money.
