Reading newspapers today and post on AR reminded me of an interesting story.
Years ago I worked on a Carnival Cruise ship, in the gift shop dept. Now any of you that have cruised will know it is rare to fine a Canadian working on the ships, of course the country we are from is on our name tag.
So one day working along an American man came up to me and said the following;
reaching out his hand "Let me shake your hand," "oh, hi nice to meet you." I say. He says "YES I see there that you are from Canada that makes you an American." what, what, so I say " hey let me shake your hand, I see that you are an American, that must make you Canadian eh, than!"
He pulled his hand away and said "point well made!"
CANADIAN AND PROUD OF IT!!!"
