Prescription drug misuse as well as abuse is on the rise.  Our water quality is also very much at risk and medications make things worse by entering our water supplies, partly from drugs that do not break all the way down even after passing through their intended recipient and more because of the unsafe way people dispose of them.

If you are like me you likely have some out of date or unneeded prescriptions.  ( we have several since the doctors kept changing my husband's diabetes medication)  I have checked with several pharmacies to no avail, so I was really happy when a fellow realtor blogged about where you could drop of unneeded meds in her area and from there I found a link for where to go nationwide....this is a program going on this month...
