And the good news is that right now is a great time to buy a home in Arizona. Ahwatukee is the Perfect place. Now is the time, too, to leverage never-before-seen buyer negotiating powers. Asking for upgrades, closing costs, improvements or other requests is more likely to be met with an open (not to mention willing) ear when the market is where it is today. Home builders, too, are offering very enticing discounts, because selling their homes - even at a steep discount - maintains their brand reputation. It's a win-win for both parties.
