Early Saturday morning my family and I were awoken to the sound of golf ball-sized hail pounding our home. Here's a picture of some hail pieces we collected from outside our front door (the coin you see in this picture is a quarter).
The upside of this is some home sellers on the west side of Madison will be getting new roofs - paid for by their insurance company. Saturday's hail storm could help some home owners get their listings sold.
