When you are purchasing or refinancing your home, researching your property taxes is one of the things First Title Corp has to do.

Comeaux, Assessor of Lafayette Parish.  It is very thorough and easy to read.  It discusses millages, property assessment procedures, valuation processes, exemptions and abatements, personal property valuation, tax calculation, reassessment processes, the appeal process, tax collection and property tax uses.  First Title Corp discusses your property taxes with you when we see a discrepancy or possibility of changes in the future.
