September 15, 2007, Saturday from 8:00a.m. until 12;00p.m. the Village of North Palm Beach will participate in the International Coastal Cleanup. This event is being sponsored by Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful and the Ocean Conservancy.
The clean up areas are the water fronts of Munyon Island, Lakeside Park, Anchorage Park, and the North Palm Beach Country Club.
Pre-Registration is required. Applications may be obtained by downloading the registration form from Parks & Recreation, www.village-npb.org,. forms may be emailed to nhensler@village-npb.org, or fax to 561 844 1836. you can also bring the form to Anchorage Park, 603 Anchorage Drive, North Palm Beach.

Protect youself and group members from the sun and possible heavy brush. Please wear protective clothing, closed shoes, sun hats and sun screen.
Volunteers with boats are also needed to transport volunteers back and forth to Munyon Island.
The first 25 volunteers will receive a T-Shirt. Trash bags and bottled water along with the data cards will be available at Lakeside Park,Anchorage park and Country Club sites.
On the registration forms there will be a list of volunteer guide lines.
