Well Surprise Surprise- I am Here as A Senior Mortgage Consultant to let you know as the Consumer that it is Not a wise choice to make in trying to cut the 3% Corner.


I am not saying All Real Estate Agents are 5 Star by any means, although I certainly want to convey the message to our Vast Buyer and Seller Audience that when it comes to one of the largest transactions one makes in a lifetime, its best to leave in the hands of Professionals, for more reasons than I care to disclose in one Blog-

But I will leave you with some Bullet points-

  • Realtors a lot of time have a better understanding as to what you want more often than the Consumer him/herself does- don't take offense, Its the Truth.
  • Realtors know how to Negotiate Properly to have the Transaction tilt far more in your favor, than opposed to the Blind consumer just trying to save the 3%
  • Realtors have far Greater Access of Real Property available to them as opposed to the Unlicenced Consumer.

And that is to name just a few.

Now Again I am not A Real Estate Agent- These words come from an Experienced, Licensed, Driven Loan Officer, that writes this in an effort to help truly Educate America in the So-Called Crisis.

The Education is this- People; If you were to try to claim compensation from a car accident you fell victim to, but didn't know how to go about getting what you deserve, you would call?....

Going through a divorce, who would you call?...

Starting a business and looking to have all of your ends covered Legally?...

You would call a Lawyer, and take what the Professional says seriously, and follow his or her guidance till the end- (at least I hope you would)

So why is it different in this industry?

Well People, I don't entirely blame you- there are far to many people in the Real Estate Industry who just don't belong,

But don't let a bad experience deter you from your betterment, there are many Qualified Individuals Involved with the Industry today, and with a solid Real Estate Agent and Loan Officer Team, you will come out on top. In all Ways, Every time.

Thanks Travis, I always means more coming from an independent 3rd party than from me.  If I tell 'em they think I'm just trying to sell them something rather than give them sound advice.  If they only knew how much some clients actually cost us they would realize our value to their transaction.  Unfortunately many people find out too late and wish they had indeed used us.

I always use testimonies from vendors, previous clients, and consumers who wished they would have found me before their deal happened.

Nice job Travis.  If you look up the statistics of using a Realtor vs. For Sale By Owner, the Realtor always nets more for the Seller than they would of on their own.

When trying to Sell By Owner, they don't have the tools the agent does, and the agents lives breathes eats and sleeps real estate, the average seller does not.  Not to mention the lawsuits that could come down on them like a ton of cement, forever binding them in a whirl wind of crap.
