I sat down with the sellers of 20366 Heathrow Drive and asked them a few simple questions, which I thought prospective buyers might appreciate hearing the seller's responses. See a transcript of our conversation below:
Me: Why did you decide to build in Greystone?
Sellers: We were attracted to the look of the subdivision first and builder's traditional southern style homes, with covered front porches, that had previously been completed. We really appreciated the fact that Greystone is situated in a quiet country setting with lots of trees and large lots, yet we are only 10 minutes from Fairhope.
Me: What do you love about your lot?
Sellers: The fact that we were able to pick one of the best lots in the subdivision ultimately sold us Greystone. Our lot was wide enough to accommodate our raised, Donald Gardner designed creole style home and backs up to 80 privately owned acres of tranquil Silverhill countryside. We invested so much time and money in our landscaping, that our lot has been designated a wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.

Me: What are your favorite features about your home?
Sellers: We love the front and back porches, from which we can take in the beauty of the southern landscape and watch the wild birds feed from our many feeders. We have an open floor plan and high ceilings, which adds space and light. We are really enjoying the upgrades we chose, like our hardwood floors, granite countertops and custom cabinets.
Me: When you move, what are you going to miss most about your home?
Sellers: That's a tough one to answer, because we are so fond of the house, our lot and the subdivision. We would love to replicate our exact home on a comparable lot near our children and grandchildren up north. If we can't find a a private lot that embraces nature as much as our current lot, it will be very disappointing. We love it here but we just don't get to see our family as much as we had hoped we would.
