Buyers From Another Land

I have recently encountered a number of buyers from out of state. This is a recent phenomenon for me. Buyers are coming from:

  • California
  • Montana
  • Washington
  • Arizona

I am trying to pinpoint what motivates buyers to buy out of state. Is it a trend? Are there certain factors that these buyers seek? What is the allure?

I know that some buyers don't like the political winds in their state. Still others are just looking for a better quality of life. I'm sure some want a change of scenery.

The reason that I moved to the area from out of state was to offer my family a better quality of life. What exactly is a better quality of life? My perception:

  • less crime
  • fewer people
  • less traffic
  • fresh air
  • more outdoor opportunities like hiking, swimming, biking etc.
  • awesome scenery
  • the whole package with shopping and other amenities nearby.

Well, I'm pretty sure people aren't relocating here for the jobs!  Just a guess.  ;-P
