Useful Websites #24

Here is Useful Websites #24:

(Day 24 of my 30-day challenge!)

And what is the website you'll be introduced to today? Little change in plan - no floor planners today.

This is something you'd want to 'use' it - to capture the lead either on your webpage or on facebook page. (More on facebook in another series.)

The website #24 is...

http://www.JotForm.com

Here is the detailed information about this website - from their website.

What is JotForm?

JotForm is the first web based WYSIWYG form builder. Its intuitive drag and drop user interface makes form building a breeze. Using JotForm, you can create forms, integrate them to your site and receive responses by email.

Who is JotForm for?

JotForm is developed mainly for webmasters, but anybody with an Internet connection can use it. JotForm is WYSIWYG, so you can still make web forms without any web design or HTML experience. Since JotForm is hosted on our servers, there are no requirements.

What kind of forms can I create with JotForm?

JotForm supports all standard web form field types. In addition, it allows you to use new and intuitive fields in your form such as Date Time Picker, Star Ratings, or CAPTCHA checks. Using JotForm, you can create any kind of web form.

Here is a short list of examples:

Contact Form Blog Contact/Survey Event Calendar
Document Uploader Satisfaction Survey Time Sheet
Job Application Form RSVP for a Party or Wedding Bug Tracker
Reservation Form

JotForm does have a FREE, PREMIUM and PROFESSIONAL services available. The FREE service is limited to about 10MB space and 100 monthly submissions. And they do have an iPhone app! This is what an iPhone app does:

  • Get instant notifications when there is a new submission,
  • Browse your recently received web form submissions easily,
  • Browse submissions on each web form,
  • Search inside your existing form submissions,
  • Reply or Forward your submissions right from your iPhone.

It also has social media integration on facebook - but I think, I'll talk about it in a series I plan to do for Websites For Social Media. (I have few useful websites for Social Media - but need to plan all the details before I annonce that - and it may not be 30 websites only - considering that FACEBOOK had already taken over GOOGLE!)

I hope you liked today's website

Your comments/suggestions are welcome.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have joined the blog-a-day blogathon for 30 days. This is day 24 of the 30-day-challenge. Woohoo.. 80% of my journey is over! and I know, it does get tougher and tougher as you reach your goal. In fact I am so much encouraged by response, I may add few more website at the end! And one more suggestion is to re-visit all of them in may be, couple of posts, covering 15 websites in each.

In these 30 days, what better could it be to share something either I learned from some of the ActiveRainers or some other resource online and share it with the group?

At times, I may not know where and how I learnt about the websites and may not be able to give due credit to someone who informed me about that, but I still want to Thank all of them who contributed to my knowledge which I plan to share.

I am trying to use different field each day - and have now more than 30 such websites. Will I continue after 30 days? Let's see - first things first- I want to completed this 30-day challenge. I am trying to avoid some of the more familiar websites and focusing on some that may not be known to most of you - and still, yes, useful.

You can create a free account on many of these websites and some of them may have some minimal subscription fees. I am sure, these websites will help you in your business - one way or another.

(Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with any of these websites not do I derive any income from any of these sites - except that I do subscribe to some of these services. Please use them at your own risk - and let me tell you, I have used them and did not find it 'risky'.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Look out for the next in series - Useful Websites #25 - and it will be....(I think I'll talk about something to do with flooring in next couple of them.)

Praful:  This sounds like a very useful website... that could save us an awful lot of time and trouble when we want to put together some sort of form to use.  Thanks so much.

Praful,

I just looked at the 2 minute tutorial and it looks very exciting and easy to use.  I am definitely putting it on my must experiment with list to see about making my own web forms.  As they always say a website needs to be interactive.

Thanks a lot all of you for quick comments. Yes, it's got lot of potential! (And if I remember correctly, the PREMIUM version is less than $10/month with unlimited forms and 1GB space!)

Praful, this has been a very helpful group of blog posts for your 30 day challenge. I look forward to all of them. I subscribed so I won't miss anything.

Maybe you could do a series like this on the Ipad apps, if you have one. I don't yet, but it looks like a great thing to have.

Thanks, Joetta. Yes, this is fairly simple. Let me know your success story.

Debra, thanks a lot for iPad apps recommendation. Couple of series I have planned are - Social Media Helpful Sites, iPhone Apps (and that should work for iPad.)

I don't have an iPad as of now, but planning to buy this Thanksgiving - assuming they lower the price (just kidding). Though I am surely impressed with iPad - I was at Brian Buffini's turming point today and next to me was a girl using iPad for so many things - including quick references websites! Amazing!
