Here is a picture of a long time friend since high school. I reconnected with her on Facebook this past Monday. She informed me that night that she was flying to Phoenix for her job on Tuesday. So, we decided to meet up for lunch. I love Facebook. Social Media allows a person to connect with many people at one time. Then, I follow up with interesting people in person. So, we were reconnecting and discussing the Glory Days. I was able to catch up with some other frineds. Overall, it was great to see a friend who is doing very well in her profession and family. Why am I blogging about this incident? Here it is

I was a professional manager for Corporate America for fourteen years. I am able to notice talent when I see it. So, our waitress was very professional and proficient. She was able to communicate and hustle at the same time. Not too many people have that talent. Gosh! I thought to myself she would be great in real estate. So, I had to ask her questions. Well, come to find out that she just moved from California. Her mother buys and sells commercial properties. They have only been in Arizona for nine months. They do not have a network. I passed her my card and told her to set up a meeting with her Mom. She said I will tell my Mom tonight.

I got an Email this morning informing me that her Mom wants to set up a meeting.
