Fall Season of Change Let’s Get Ready for “Season”!

 fall season of change

When I first came to Naples FL, I did not notice a change of seasons.  Now, since I have spent several Seasons living in South West Florida, I can definitely see the change and we in Naples are on the cusp of entering our “Season”!!!

What is Season???

Season is what everyone anticipates all year.  It is when the snowbirds, tourist and most important the BUYERS come to town!!!

Of course, I must mention that there are subtle changes in the weather; cooler breezy days without humidity and intense sun.

 fall season of change

Physically, everything in Naples starts to buzz with activity.  Flowers that are planted in the springtime up north are planted here in the fall.  Fifth Avenue, Third Street South, Golf Shore, the medians along the highway, private homes and communities become a BURST of COLOR!!! fall season of change

I ask myself what changes am I making this Fall anticipating Season?

v    Physically it is time for nice hair and clothes, no more shorts, tank tops and flip flops, I never know who I will come across that wants to buy or sell a property in Naples FL. I want to convey professionalism.

v    Diligent prospecting every day, now the sellers are serious about placing their homes on the market.

v    Consistent advertising and marketing, folks like to pick up publications when they come to town and they search for property on line!

v    Social Networking is key; Active Rain, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are some of the resources I will utilize.  As well as getting “hyper local” and posting to Localism…it’s time to ramp up the “Goggle Juice”!

v    Networking face to face by joining business and local groups such as a Chamber of Commerce and becoming more active in my local Board of Realtors.

v    Open Houses are a great way to meet people that want to buy as well as potential sellers scouting the market.

v    It is important to take time for myself, my mate, furry friendloved ones and friends (including my furry friends)

v    Give back to the community, these are hard economic times, take something out of each transaction to donate to a charity such as the local St. Matthews House or Humane Society of Naples.

v    Take at least one full day a week to relax and do something fun, go to the beach or the docks; be a tourist and remind myself why I came to call Beautiful Naples Florida “Home”!

I am excited about implementing my changes for this Fall Season of Change and having a productive Season!

Hi Christine.  I enjoyed your post and pictures.  It took me back to my 20's when I lived in Miami (was there during the Cuban Crisis.)  At that time I worked in the Operating Room at South Miami Hospital and on days off I loved to go visit the beaches in Naples.  I'm sure an lot has changed in 45 years!!

Karen, Thanks for stopping by, I had fun working on this post, my first use of color.

Sue, The beaches are probably the same, white and pristine with blue water.  I love to go to the city beaches around 8th Avenue.
