In this fast pasted world, it is difficult to be patient, we want things to happen fast.  But Paul urges us to imitate those who stayed the course and remained faithful.  Men of old, like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to name a few, who set the example that we can emulate.  They were patient and faithful and in the end inherited the promises of God.
