Carmel is a great place to live because they are such an active community with things to do almost every weekend. Coming up on Septemer 25th and 26th is the Carmel International Arts Festival on Main Street in the Carmel Arts and Design District.
There will be nearly 150 artists displaying their works in watercolor, oils, jewelry, photography, wood, sculpture and various other mediums. There will also be entertainment on two stages including the Banjo Buddies Dixieland Band and the CR Ryan Professional Magician, as well as food vendors.
There will be lots for the kids to do too with Slammer Jazz and The Frog and the Toad Mini Musical. They will have face painting and Dooley the Clown!
Admission is free and you can part at the Carmel High School and a shuttle will be provided. How easy is that?
There are many neighborhoods that are within walking distance including Arden at Cool Creek as well as some older homes. There are currently over 125 homes for sale in Carmel that were built before 1975; and at least 10 in this area!
Most of these homes have three bedrooms and over 1,500 sq ft.
There are over 800 homes for sale in Carmel currently if living near the Arts District is not your style. We have a great tool on the website to search for home in Carmel by neighborhood. The website also give you the option to search by price point and also a map feature. If living in Carmel is on your radar, we have the tools to make that easy for you!
Enjoy the event and stop back to the blog often; Avian Glen is my next market report!
