3 Homes lost in Nadia Dr fire today in the Arboure Green South subdivision just off Clarksville's exit 1 today. Athough is it still unclear what caused the fire, here is what is known at this time. The fire started in the middle home belonging to a Ft Campbell Soldier who just left for deployment this morning. While fire fighters were working to put out the fire, the wind shifted and the home to the right then caught fire. With another wind shift, the home to the left caught fire as well. Homes to the left and right of these three homes also suffered minor damage from the heat as did two homes located behind the subject properties. In all there were seven homes affected according to the USAA insurance adjuster on the scene. All seven homes and three vehicles were insured with USAA insurance.

Of the three homes, the family on the left were renters. The wife is due to have a baby tomorrow while he husband is currently deployed. USAA insurance adjuster stated this family was in a much greater need for assistance as they didn't have any type of renters insurance. Good news is that US Bank will be setting up three separate donation accounts for these family who lost their homes in todays fire. Anyone looking to donate money to these families can do so by going to any US Bank Location. Information on the account numbers for each family should be available on Thursday and this will be updated when it becomes available Be sure to check back for additional information as it becomes available. Details were limited this evening. Fire inspectors plan to finnish their investigation as to the cause of the fire tomorrow morning.

There was a terrible story in our area about a fire where a mother saved most of her children but died along with two of them.  Very sad indeed.
