Jubilee Festival Is This Weekend In Daphne Alabama!

By
Real Estate Agent

Make the most of the first fall weekend and visit the Jubilee Festival in Old Towne Daphne, Alabama to see some of the finest and most unique arts and crafts in the south, let your kids experience making Jubilee art themselves and eat Festival Food! Festival hours are Saturday and Sunday, September 26 & 27 from 10-5 and admission is FREE!

Kids Art In The Park is a very special feature allowing kids to be creative by making fun stuff like fish prints, wood sculptures and bead art. The City of Daphne graciously allows these young artists to paint their own design on a part of the fence surrounding Centennial Park. Tickets are 50 cents and activities will require one to two tickets each. Area students will receive two free tickets each! Art In The Park hours are Saturday 10-4 and Sunday noon-4.

The Eastern Shore Chamber and City of Daphne REALLY raised the bar on attractions this year by adding a BIG SCREEN TV FOR COLLEGE AND PRO FOOTBALL GAMES! There will be a big screen TV in the City Hall Council Chambers so everyone can enjoy both the festival and football over the weekend. How convenient is that??!! Way to Go Daphne!!! "Dads feel guilty missing their kids perform but they don't want to leave their man cave either!" said Kathy Barton, Eastern Shore Chamber Communications Coordinator. "This is the first Festival of the Season. It's our kick off to Fall!"
