Facebook Unavailable

 

There are individuals all over the U.S. trying to sign into Facebook, and NOT ABLE TO.    For some reason, maybe hackers, the service is unavailable.

I know first thing this morning, a Realtor friend sent a private message - which of course, was a hacker into his Faceook account.

 

Is that what is happening across the U.S.     Yesterday they released in Forbes that the inventor of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, was worth 6.9 billion.     Was someone mad?

 

I bet there are offices across the Country trying to figure out how to sign on.     Are they having to WORK today, or actually pick up the phone to contact a friend?

PHONE??? What's a phone? LOL. Today we want instant communication. For the Milenial Generation thos is how they communicate. A friend of mine was driving her son and his girlfriend to the movies, I think it was, and she thought it was odd she didn't hear them speaking. ROFLMBO they were in the back seat texting each other so the Mom wouldn't hear them! Dylan was right, The times, they are a changin

I literally have friends and family that I only have their fb information, I don't have their cell numbers anymore and the old home numbers have since been disconnected.

Something about technology today.  I got up early and started working on the computer, when my internet went down.  So I went to check the news on television, but I only got snow.  No phone either (all three through the same cable provider).  Nothing came up until almost 9 A.M.  ActiveRain was having issues around 5 P.M. here too.  Maybe it is the Harvest Moon!!

Didn't realize FB was having sign on problems. Mine seemed to be working?? I know many people have been getting FB messages from friends who really are not friends but hackers so be careful. Ask them a personal question that only they would know to make sure it is really them.

Shar, mid-afternoon I was driving home, and it was on the radio.   Checked it out when I walked in the door, and NO FACEBOOK, and since so many people are on it, thought I would do a post!    Glad you did not have any problems!    I never open attachments when I am not expecting them, and usually follow up with a phone call, just in case!

Joan, our life is so tied to getting things instant we have forgotten the days of waiting for the long distance call. My fb was working fine...my guess when you give away so much to a public school the free publicity does bring load of traffic.

It's funny.  The Facebook outtage didn't bother me as much as the Active Rain outtage a couple of weeks ago!!  Addicted to AR?  Me?  Nah.... :)

Although I'm on Facebook, I'm not a big Facebook fan yet. There's just too much stuff there that I really don't want to know about.
