15 Comments on The Droid 2 - Verbal Texting
Thanks for the tip. I just but a new HTC Android Phone; and am also having trouble with the small keyboard. I think it has the same capability to verbal text. I'm off to check it out.
The technology on smartphones these days is just remarkable. Good for you for figuring out a work around for the small keyboard Debra.
Debra, Now this sounds like heaven on earth -I would absolutely love that! I had never heard of it before. I am going to check into it - thanks so much!
Deb..Be patient ..after awhile the phone becomes accustomed to your touch..big fingers or small ..it learns your touch...
Why not use a pencil?
Debra....There is a never ending number of things you can do with these very "smart phones".
Hey Deb! How cool is that? Maybe I should think of changing phones....
That is just too cool Debbie, Hey gadget girl, we will have to take a look at our Blackberry and see if it has it becuase you can just bet these two would be yakking not typing, oh no, now more multi-tasking while texting!!
Deb - I had no idea you could do that...Now I'm going to be texting everyone and having way too much fun doing it!
Kathy-It comes in sooo handy! Thanks for stopping by!
Craig-Well it was either that or get new fingers and that wasn't really an option. ;-D
Sandy-Good luck!
Hannah-I certainly hope so because I hate texting!
Josh-It will only respond to the heat of your fingers darn it!
Carra-Yes this phone never ceases to amaze me with what it can do!
Deb-I know right? You might love it!!
Al-Peg-Actually since I have been using it that is exactly what I have been doing. Mega multi-tasking! LOL
Anna Banana-Like I said it takes awhile sometimes but it is still tooo fun!
Most of my technology does things that I am not aware of or has features that I don't even know I have. I'm not very good at learning new gadgets.
Hi Debra, I really like this and it would be great if it were available on my iPhone. I will have to see if there is an App for that, :-)
Debra, I still have a few months of contract left on my storm, but I'm looking forward to the Droid. I wonder if I can do that on my blackberry...I'll check that out. By the way, I reported the comment above me #14 as spam.
Debra, I just got the Sprint Epic a few weeks ago and wow what a learning curve. I got it because of the slide out keyboard but I think it will also do the verbal texting but I have not figured that one out yet.
Sharon-I think there are so many things this phone does that I still don't know about and I have learned most of it. My local board is having a class on it today so hopefully I will come back with some more goodies!
William-There must be an app for that! LOL
Nick-So many people are switching to the Droid and have been very happy. I think you will love it!
Marchel-The Droid has the slide out keyboard too. Yes these phones definitely have a learning curve! ;-) The Sprint service in this area is terrible which is why I switched to Verizon from Nextel.
