Yesterday was the first day of fall with the leaves blowing everywhere, and all the beautiful colors beginning to change. While Buffalo Grove home owners may not care for the clean up, the kids love this time of year. It is the beginning of the countdown to Halloween. Didier Farms is located off Aptakisic Road in Buffalo Grove and has been a favorite for kids and adults for many years. They have the best Halloween activities arround and in fact many schools have daily field trips to the farm this time of year. Last year my grandaughters school in Evanston came to this magical place in Buffalo Grove for a visit. Please note the schedule of events and make sure to visit and stop by the Farmstand as well. Oh by the way, you can get great fresh food for lunch as well.
Starting with our PUMPKINFEST September 25th:
WEEKDAYS
During the week - Monday through Friday (except Columbus Day) you will have several options.
1) Between the time 9 - 12: There is an Admission Fee $8.00 to go on the Hayride, the Petting Zoo, the Cornmaze and the Strawmaze. Same price for Adult and Child. All unlimited between the times of 9 - 12.
2.) or Between the time 9 -12: You may purchase a wristband for $12.00 for Admission to do all the activities above PLUS THE PONY RIDES, SUNSHINE CRAFTS(painting activity),INFLATABLE PUMPKIN (bouncing moonwalk), REPTILE EXHIBIT, AND ALL MECHANICAL RIDES THAT ARE RUNNING THAT DAY. All unlimited between the times of 9 - 12.
3.) or Between the time 9 -12: You may purchase tickets for the Pony Rides(4), Sunshine Crafts(3 and up), Inflatable Pumpkin(3), Camel Ride(5), and the Big Cat Exhibit(3) . There is no admission fee for these activities. Tickets are $1.00 each, most activities require (3) tickets.
4.) 12:00 - 5:00 ALL THE ABOVE ACTIVITES will be open and TICKETS may be purchased for each activity
WEEKENDS AND COLUMBUS DAY
ALL ACTIVITES WILL BE OPEN AND TICKETS MAY BE PURCHASED FOR EACH ACTIVITY. NO ADMISSION
