The Internet? Is that thing still around?
The internet has obviously helped our businesses grow, but it also has created some frustrating moments. Keeping a client's attention has become far more difficult due to the ease that information is available on-line. With just a click of the mouse, a potential client can find someone else to provide your services.
By now, most everyone has heard of RatePlug, a recently developed lender sponsored (as in free to you) program that combines property listing information with current mortgage payment options. Having mortgage information directly on your listing allows homebuyers to view rate and payment scenarios without going to another site. It is estimated that potential buyers will stay on a RatePlug enhanced listing on average an additional six and a half minutes longer.
Each real estate professional is allowed to show up to three of their preferred lenders on the listings. RatePlug requires that lenders update the rate information every 72 hours, so your clients can count on seeing realistic numbers. Clients can also choose from different loan programs and down payment amounts and see accurate payments.
As mentioned above, this is a lender sponsored program and there is no cost to the real estate agent.
