Barbeques Galore had another amazing Cooking Experience this week. Using a bit of Sunshine in a Bottle, Chef Kyle Jentsch presented an Italian feast completely on the grill!
Course 1: Grilled Mussels in Paula's Lemon Cream Sauce
Course 2: Grilled Shrimp Wrapped in Prosciutto with Melon and Spinach Salad
Course 3: Plank Salmon Alla Caprese with Grilled Polenta
Course 4: Grilled Strawberries with Orange Balsamic Syrup & Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
There was a full house and lots of laughing and conversation as we watched and learned the secrets of grilling. As always, Chef Kyle at Barbeques Galore Lakeway TX was fabulous and out did himself with Paula's Texas Lemon and Texas Orange Liqueurs.
My favorite was the Grilled Shrimp wrapped in Prosciutto with Melon and Spinach Salad. I would never had attempted using cantelope as part of a skewer medly, but yumm...it was delicious! The flavor blended perfectly with the prosciutto wrapped shrimp and crisp spinach. The entire course was healthy and light.
