Hillingham I, is a small older townhome community in the Kennett Consolidated school system, just off Route 52 behind a landscaping business. It overlooks a pond with a walking trail and couldn't be nicer. Especially because it is so convenient via Route 52 to Wilmington or via Route 1 to Philadlephia, West Chester and Media. It's very close to Kennett Square.
It definitely is a quiet community, with a great neigbhorly spirity, usually a profressive holiday party. No big HOA group runs this, the owners elect among themselves to keep costs down. There are no age restrictions. They have their own community waste disposal center so no additional sewer fees.
