If you read US History and biographies like that of Kit Carson you'll see how Missouri was the gateway to the Future with 3 major trails converging at Independence : The California Trail, the Santa Fe Trail, and the Oregon Trail.  Who would have thought over a century later Missouri would still have such an important position. Location is everything.  With Kansas City and St Louis being major players and now the Springfield area growing by leaps and bounds I guess we have to say "history repeats itself"

I just read that Southwest Missouri is the 9th fastest growing area in the country and it's no wonder.  With Beautiful landscape, sffordable lifestyle, great housing, and employers hiring by the hundreds and the relaxed Southern lifestyle it's no wonder.

I wish we'd found this 20 years ago. I guess living in Indiana, California and Arizona just taught us what to look for.  For more info  www.hashbarger.biz
