Renowned for its steep streets, stunning harbour, and the famous Citadel, Halifax, Nova Scotia's capital has one of the world's largest natural harbours and an amazing Seaport Boardwalk.

Halifax is also famous for it's historic Titanic burial site, the final resting place of many of the passengers who lost their lives on the Titanic; Halifax played an important role in the Titanic disaster in helping with the rescue attempts and by taking in victim's families.

We spent half a day wandering the streets of this lovely historic seaport and the other half visiting the iconic Peggy's Cove.

Liz - You certainly made some very good choices in timing and places to visit on your journey earlier this year ..... the summer we visited Peggy's Cove the waves were crashing over the top of rocks out by the lighthouse. ..... looking at your pictures it must have been a beautiful day when you were there
