I now have my new Toshiba Satellite Laptop and as I looked up the exact model on the Web, this other Satellite popped up:The Satellite Portable Toilet. You know, there are quite a few similarities, other than the obvious bright blue hue of the illustrations here. They both fulfill a basic human need-when you've gotta go, you've gotta go and when when you've gotta blog, you've gotta blog. Actually my old IBM ThinkPad had more like the the porta-potty. as it turned out to be a complete piece of flush-able waste material.

Barbara - I got a Satellite (the Toshiba kind, not the Portapotty kind) almost a year ago and I love it. I've basically given up my desktop sytems and use it as my primary computer. I hope you are as happy with yours!

I love my toshiba satellite, my current one is my 3rd Satellite and it is 3 years old and still robust. It is , like Gayla's my desktop unit and I carry a netbook in the car. I love Toshiba, hope yours lasts and gives you as much service as mine is.

Thanks, Charita! I shopped price in a way too but I keep hearing good things about the Toshiba=that is a relief. I have just today goten to an up and running state-at a convention, n ot all my programs running but I think I am finally there!
