Paper.li  Am I quoting your content on my paper?  Perhaps if I am following you on Twitter you are in one of the papers I published this morning using Paper.li

I published three... four really... the first one I published I deleted when I saw how easy it was and how I misunderstood it since I never bothered to real all about it before trying it.  I saw David Childress  publish a paper on Sunday with Paper.li.  Looking at David's paper on Paper.li I thought

"gee that looks great..." 

curation... 

looking at David's paper I thought

"gee that must be a lot of work.*"

Paper.li Maureen McCabe  I was pleasantly surprised using my @MoInColumbusOH did not just reflect Maureen McCabe, it is the people I follow on twitte via my  @MoInColumbusOH  I see Teresa Boardman I see lots of big Tech things, Tech Crunch, Loic, Problogger  which makes me wonder how things are weighted.  I see Googles 12th Birthday.  I see Susie Blackmon, two pictures.

The columbus Daily... I think I need to edit my group to a capital C or is that capitol?  Extra, Extra...

This is where readers may see you if I am following you and have you in my real-estate-and-mortgage group on Twitter (not Tweetdeck or something else... Twitter groups) I see @Nelsonian, Dale Chumbley, lots of Ann Cummings and Monika McGillicuddy.

The news will change daily (duh) in each paper. The ads are automatic.  It is really, really easy (putting in a @, a # or a group is all it takes.) I will do a tutorial about Paper.li in a day or two... or point you at one done by someone else... who does those sort of things better.

did you get the "beaver" messsage?  "bloody beavers" because their site is small rivers? I had a hard time getting paper.li o take the link for my real estate and mortgage group.. it's an alpha but I love it.

You know what bugs me?  And this isn't just about Paper.li because they all do it .... They want you to sign in with your Twitter or Facebook account, and then they blast the news off to all your friends on Twitter and Facebook.  I'd like to be able to create an account and fiddle around with it privately first for a few days.... #justsayin   :-)

Hmm very interesting.  Thanks Maureen for pointing it out.  I will fiddle with it also when I get a chance.  I'm supposed to be doing "other things" right now but here I am commenting on your blog - after seeing your previous comment on another blog - that I came across on the daily drop while  checking my emails - Get me out of here!

Ladies Not a lot of fiddling to do... this unless you set it up to send it does not send (I did on two of them... just me being obnoxious). It does send Daily.  That probably would not be good to have 10 Daily Papers sending...

I may turn off the real estate one.

I set up the real estate one and the Columbus one to go out and so they did but it does not just send something based on you signing up..

You can fiddle without it sending but there just is not any fiddling other than trying out different #, @ or groups.

Day 2 -  Columbus Daily  I think it has too much of the local ABC / NBC (and I think of NBC / CBS being so much more prominent when I read it on Tweetdeck oddly)  for my taste and not enough of the real  Columbus people so I may be changing my group to get it weighted different because...  I don't want it to just be the media...  they are in my group but I never think of them as dominating the local tweets.   

Day 2 real-estate-and-mortgage turned out the same.  Too Teri Lussier much old media or experts for me.  Too much Inman and Real Estate Index... not enough people.  Teri is there. Mike Mueller is there.  I see Phoenix real estate guy...   even though it is Teri she is quoting the Dayton Daily News which I prefer to Inman. 

Just wondering again how it is weighted.  Perhaps I need to read about Paper.li  Pictures it seems to take the people. Content it takes the articles from Inman.  Or is that because people are not posting their blog posts, they are just saying 140 characters but are sharing content from their real newspapers...  Not sure I want to fuss with redoing groups.

And the link does not show the archive.  It just shows the current.  Day 1 and Day 2 the link will be the same.  It just shows the current day.
