Sotheby's Wine is both a retail wine merchant and auctioneer, and offers a wide range of wines from $13.95 to $40,000 per bottle.

For the wine lover with a palate for the best, Sotheby's is offering wine themed gifts that include such stylish options as Sotheby's Wine gift cards available in both traditional and e-card formats; the Sotheby's Wine Encyclopedia by Tom Stevenson, one of the best all-around books on wine; a beautiful book about the stories behind the original paintings for the Château Mouton Rothschild labels, which was produced on behalf of the Chateau; and a poster from Mouton of the labels for vintages 1926, 1945-2004.
The online store can ship to around half of the U.S. There are plans to expand the concept to other locations if the Sotheby's Wine Shop is a success.
