ABC Soup…A Day Full of F’s

Here are the F’s for your enjoyment.  I hope you continue to enjoy!

FABULOUS: definition extremely pleasing; Make your life FABULOUS.  Search and find those things that will put your life in this category.   

FAVORITE:  Where is your FAVORITE vacation destiny?  Where is your FAVORITE  restaurant? Your FAVORITE movie?  Your FAVORITE exercise? 

FUN: Have FUN in your life, it will bring all the rest together.  FUN should be in your daily circle of harmony and balance.  What strikes your FUN fancy?  I’ll throw some ideas in here and if you have some to share, please do. 

• Play with your children. I mean really play.
• A good ‘ol water fight before the heat is gone.                    
• When Autumn arrives, which is soon. Rake the leaves, jump into the pile and have FUN.
• Go to an amusement park.

• Send him or her on a treasure hunt.  Yes it is FUN.  You have to get pretty creative with this.  When the T’s are posted I’ll give you a treasure map.            
  

Have Fun with Your Friends

• A girl/guys night out.  You need to have a good dose a FUN with your friends. 
• Go to a concert, sports event, or movie night.  

FLOWERS: Stop and smell them often.  It’s amazing how high your spirits will be lifted.  By yourself some FLOWERS to put in your office and/or the center of your kitchen table.  Surprise somebody you know or don’t know very well, with FLOWERS.  For example, the elderly lady in your neighborhood, the gal who’s husband just left for Iraq, or just pick anybody, just because.  Also refer to:  http://ww12.1800flowers.com/welcome.do?cm_mmc=tagged-_-na-_-na-_-na&bannerBeacon=true 

FORGIVE: Your heart will be lifted and the burden will be lightened.  When you carry around the burden and not FORGIVE it will bring you down in many aspects of your life.  It may take a lot of work, but you’ve got to try.  Seek the Lord in prayer or whoever you may turn to in your religious beliefs. FORGET: Once you forgive FORGET it and move on.  That’s all a part of it.  Otherwise you’ll find yourself pondering on the situation again. 

Now another side of FORGET: Don’t FORGET to print out your tasks and checklists and follow them closely so that you are right on track with all your business and personal life happenings.

FAILURE: I’m hearing a lot of talk about people feeling like a FAILURE because their listings aren’t selling, their buyers aren’t cooperating, etc.  I’m sure with all you seasoned real estate professionals, you don’t beat yourself up over this, but others, the newer agents, we will all have to get used to this new market and stay strong and on top of the market.  We have to, in order to survive.

FRIDAY:  Go out and have a great time to end off the week.  Did I say end off the week?  We still have Saturday.  Do it anyway!  It will get you excited for the next week.  FRIDAY is a day to get replenished from being “fried” from working so many hours.

FAITH: Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.--St. Augustine

FRIEND: Get in touch with some old FRIENDs and get together or just call to keep in touch.  Are they all included in your SOI (sphere of influence)?  If not they all should be. Show them how excited you are about your career. But most of all, be a FRIEND.

FASCINATION: We here that word with when it’s in a sentence about a child.  “He’s so FASCINATED by the colors on the wall”, “She’s so FASCINATED by horses”. As adults we have FASCINATION’s too.  I’m personally FASCINATED by a beauty of the beach, the sound the water makes, the sunset and the crisp cool feel in the air. What are you FASCINATED about?

FORTY HOURS: What’s that?  I think it was more like Fifty, How about you?

FACTS: We need to keep the FACTS straight about our industry.  We can contact our local Chamber of Commerce, local media and give them FACTS about the market.  We are the only ones who can change the very negative that is rolling around.

FAMILY: Don’t forget the people who are supporting you the most in your business.  Eat dinner as a FAMILY at the dinner table as often as possible. It will give you time to talk about everything going on each other’s lives. Did you take a summer vacation?  If not, take a mini vacation.  Enjoy one another, laugh, giggle, love and hug. 

FEAR:  Conquer your FEAR. Do you have a FEAR of knocking doors, cold calling, or telling everybody you meet that you are a real estate professional?  These are things that you must do, your success depends on it.  Do you have a FEAR of going to the dentist donating blood    or going to the Doctor?  Your life and other's lives depend on it. FAX MACHINE:What a staple to our business.  What would we do without them.  Make sure you keep your confirmations from FAX transmittals in your files.  Do you call the recipient to make sure they received their FAX? You should.  Then there is no room for error.  added by Margaret Woda
