Welcome to Rockledge townhouses in Suffern, New York!
Rockledge is a picturesque, private community which is close to the village of Suffern and to the commuter railroad and the bus to NYC. Living within 5 minutes to Suffern is a great advantage of residing in this complex.
Another benefit of living in this complex of tri-levels is that its common charges are very low.
One more advantage is that it is a short distance to Antrim lake, the Suffern Village pool, a playground and baseball fields, where it is fun to watch the Little League baseball players in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
These 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom townhouses with 1.5 to 2.5 bathrooms were built in 1984. Their square footage is between 1456 and 1508 square feet. The townhomes in Rockledge have a garage, 2 parking spots in front of each garage, private decks overlooking the wooded Ramapo Mountains and private backyards with up to almost 1/4 acre of property.
The townhomes also have cathedral ceilings, skylights, and master bedrooms with walk-in closets. The living room/dining room combination is spacious and leads to a large deck.
The 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom townhomes have an eat-in kitchen, a finished basement with a family room, and a laundry room. Some of the units have fireplaces in the living room.
Some of the master bedrooms have a balcony, so that the owner can enjoy nature's beauty from the bedroom, living room which leads to a deck and also from the patio which leads to a piece of property up to 1/4 acre in some cases.
Since I am a pet lover, I am glad to say that pets are allowed in The Rockledge townhouse complex.
Although there are no townhouses for sale in this development at the time of my writing this article, September 27, 2010, there is one unit under contract. The asking price of the unit is $235,000, but it is in fair condition. Most of the units are in very good or good condition.
The last 4 units that sold in the Rockledge townhouse complex sold between $265,000 for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath unit and $300,000 for a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath tri-level. These tri-levels sold between 1/14/09 and 8/28/09.
