I've been using my DROID for about 8 months and I was reminded today of many of the reasons I love the Droid. I recently destroyed my old phone and had to order a replacement - insurance is a good thing most of the time.
My new DROID came via UPS late this afternoon. After powering it up and entering my email and password, it began syncing all my contacts along with all the apps that I had installed on my other phone.
This technology is really been around for a while, but it's also really just getting started good. I just returned from a place that had no internet service or WiFi and I used my DROID as a modem. It worked great. I think pretty soon, I won't need a laptop! I really do like some good technology!
