Home Path/Fannie Mae just upped the Ante!
If you have not checked out Fannie Mae's Home Path Program, you need to see what it is all about. They just added a new incentive to get homes sold.
HomePath is a great program. Any home making it to the Home Path Website has had special incentives to sell them for a while now. With only 3.5% down, downpayment incentives and no PMI! any buyer should be looking at their website first. They also have a Renovation Loan so that damaged homes can get repairs, similar to the 203K streamline loans. And get this, even Investors can buy under this program! How cool is that?
Now Fannie Mae's Home Path has added a new incentive to get these homes sold. As of September 24th, they are willing to pay 3.5% of the buyers closing costs in order to move these homes.
Simply go to the Home Path home page, enter your zip code and look at all of the homes available. There are some great prices in there, and from all price ranges. If you aren't showing your buyers these homes, then you may be losing out as well. Selling agents can get $1500 at closing for selling one of these homes and closing by December 31, 2010. So don't miss out!
This program is a win win for all, so move fast. All homes with the 3.5% closing costs paid by Fannie Mae, and the $1500 bonus for agents has to close by December 31st of 2010.
