BLIDGETS - WIDGETS AND MORE - OH MY!  OK - So I see a new feature on some of your nifty AR blog sites - and thought I'd do the same . . . followed the link, created one and now can't get the darn thing to show up!  Help!  I don't want to sort through all the HTML coding - can someone just tell me what I did wrong - or if it is the AR site perhaps?  I did not see a post on this although I am certain one of you techno Stagers has some advice on putting this on our blogs.  I like being able to scroll the highlights of topics - very cool.

Come on AR Stagers . .. how did you get your Widget or Blidget to show up on your blog page?  I created one but it is not showing up - and I lose patience trying to figure it out.  HELP!!!

Jennie, I too would like to know, but I'm pretty sure the explanation would be too technical for my brain to absorb, so I avoid trying to learn.:-)

I messed with it like you did until I found  Laura Monroe explain it in her blog. She did a great job of explaining it! Good luck Jennie- Make sure you add it to your settings in your blog edit area.

I am hoping you get a good answer for this.  I have played around with it some, but also had no success.  I don't have the patience for programming I guess!

To post anything in your blog sidebar you need to post only the HTML Code. 

1. Go to your AR homepage and click on MY SETTINGS. You will see your blog title then blog description.

2. In the BLOG DESCRIPTION field paste the HTML code of whatever widget you want to appear there. 

Here is a link to how to put a Real Estate Shows in your sidebar.  Using your RES as an AR sidebar widget. (Tutorial)

For the blidget, I followed Laura Monroe's post.

One thing that I do is put <br> in between different codes to help differentiate one widget from another. Email me if you still have trouble.

Hallelujah!!  It took me a while but IT WORKED!! Thank you for your help!  The key was finding the right html coding to paste as the first time I did it I had put in the WIDGET promotion logo and not my stuff!  Sheesh!  You have to go to Edit Widget Panel - My Widget Panel - Install Panel Now - Get Panel Code . . .  then cut and paste what shows up in the box to your descriptions . . .  Sounds easy enough, but man, it was to the point of frustrating, and I consider myself pretty techno savvy on computer matters!  Thanks to all for your help! - Jennie
