An Encouraging New Survey From Fannie Mae

By
Real Estate Agent with Sothbey's International Realty

Perhaps you have been debating on buying a new home, if this is the case you are in good company. Fannie Mae has conducted a recent survey stating that, 70 percent of Americans think that the real estate market has hit the bottom, and now is a good time to buy a home.

The figures represent a generous increase of 64 percent, from the same survey conducted in January of this year.

A whopping 67 percent of those surveyed said they still feel that housing is a good investment. But 33 percent say they chose renting over owning, and 54 percent said they think it may be hard to get a mortgage loan right now.
