Fairfield New Jersey isn't just for kids! Senior Activities in Fairfield, New Jersey

I often write posts about Things to do in Fairfield, New Jersey with kids and I've even wrote a few posts on Things to do in Fairfield without the kids.  Tonight I wanted to write a post on activities for seniors in Fairfield, New Jersey.  Together, with Fairfield Recreation Department, The Township of Fairfeld New Jersey offers a variety of senior activities and outings.  To name a few:

• Bus trips to Shop-Rite, Corrado's market and Atlantic City;
• Low-impact aerobic classes; and
• The Library offers several craft and book discussion groups.

Fairfield, New Jersey is a very multi generational family town.  There's empty nesters who have lived and raised their kids in Fairfield and still reside here.  Their children, who are married and are now parents themselves also bought a home in Fairfield, New Jersey.  I think its says something about a town where generation of families stay in the same town they were born and raised. 

For empty nesters who prefer renting, Woodcrest at Fairfield is an adult community located near the West Essex Regional School District.  This adult community comprised of 122 residences features a wide variety of interior styles including studio, one, two and three bedroom layouts. Woodcrest of Fairfield residents enjoy the resort-inspired lifestyle which include a clubhouse and fitness center. On the other hand, there's also handful multi-generational homes.  Multigenerational homes are often referred to as a"mother/daughter home" and/or an "in-law suite", basically both have the same meaning...keeping the house "All in the Family".   There's no doubt that many varieties of multigenerational homes exist but the most common are families which consist of grown children, grandparents and grandchildren all living under the same roof:  the homeowner, his/her children and grandchildren; or the homeowner, his/her children and his/her own parents.

Fairfield, New Jersey is wonderful, family oriented town with a something for every age, every lifestyle and everyone.
