As a realtor here Florida I have had a difficult time figuring out how to get my wife and I covered so that it makes since for our family. Insurance premiums are so high for individuals not to mention their strict guidelines as to who they want to cover.
How have other realtors out there gone about protecting their families when you are self employed? We have found that even on a month where both of us have had to go to the doctor and get prescriptions that is still less expensive than had we been paying a monthly insurance premium.
I know that had we something major happen that might not be the case but really upwards of $500 a month for poor coverage..... is that really even an option?
