I Can Do That! Removing Permanent Marker from Dry Erase
Several years ago I was prepared to conduct a training class to a small group of 50 plus associates. The training was being held in a fairly new location with all new supplies namely the big, white dry erase board. In preparation I began to go through my presentation including to draw a diagram on the white board. Once I was done reviewing I grabbed the eraser and you got it, no erase. The drawing remained on the board. Boy, did I feel not so good. My worst fear, looking at the marker, is realized. It is permanent ink and not dry erase. Some months later I heard that they never did get the permanent ink removed from the board.
Time goes on and I have learned a handy, dandy tip that would have resolved that issue. It's a tip anyone can do. If you find yourself with permanent ink on your dry erase board simply take a dry erase marker and write over the permanent ink. The permanent ink will come up with the dry erase ink. Go try it, I did!
Looking for a home of your dreams, I can help you with that too.
