I feel that part of our duty as bloggers (specifically bloggers about Real Estate) is to bring a direct challenge to the popular media about the negative spin that they attempt to add to the reality of the nation's housing market.  Part of the spirit of blogs is to have a unique voice that is just as valid (and based on the web traffic) more valid than that of a traditional news outlet.  I put forth a challenge for us to point out inflated exaggerations, dreary predictions, muckraking, and vexations perpetrated by our local media. Here is a local example.  Fear not, our voice is growing in numbers and credibility.
