Yesterday, a colleague and I were checking out a favorite neighborhood in Prince George's County and met this fellow sitting in front of University Park Elementary School. I brought the car to a screeching halt and pulled out my camers.
"Well, Pat," she said. "You never know when a crazy starred blue bird will come in handy for your blog!"
She was right!

LOL I love it! I have my husband trained to stop at moments notice, my family is scared of me and the camera that they will appear in one of Mom's blogs----you just never know, after all I was a Girl Scout so I like to think always being prepared is best!
That's cute! I bet there are a ton of pictures out there with kids in front of this thing. I bet my granddaughter would love it.

Pat - cool bird statue. Bet you will see other birds perching on it from time to time. Or worse. Wouldn't you hate if you could have snapped a pic of this?

That is a bird will make you stop for sure. It is beautiful to be displayed in a school property.
Now all the birds are patriotic too! You never know who is going to be next.
