Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Real Estate Limited

The New York Yankees make the playoffs!!  It's their 15th playoff berth in the last 16 seasons.

I attended a game they won against the Toronto Blue Jays on 9/4/10 and wanted to share some photos

The final score that day was New York Yankees 7, Toronto Blue Jays 5

The new Yankee stadium standing proud. It was a beautiful day for a ballgame.

Robinson Cano with his RBI hit

Strike 1 on Derek Jeter

Jeter gets a base hit

Mark Teixeira ready to go

Joba Chamberlain throwing very well

Mark Teixeira ready for anything

3rd strike called on Toronto's Bautista

Toronto did NOT like the call!!

Jeter, Cano & company enjoy the win!!

Can they win the world series again?

P.S. It looks like I'm on the field with the Yanks, but I was just trying out my new camera (with 16x zoom). This was actually my point of view:

Jeana:  To say your camera has a really great zoom appears to be a huge understatement.  Which, from the angle of the pictures, must mean that you were sitting in right field right near the foul line.  Incredible pictures from that distance.

May I ask...what kind of camera, model and all, and exactly what kind of zoom lens were you using ?

Karen, I guess you are right as you can see out seats. It is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 it has a 12x optical/16x digital zoom. So far, I love the camera.

GRRRRR!!!! The Evil Empire does it again! As a Red Sox fan it's like a knife to the heart. ROFL Congratulations though. There's nothing like your fav sports team winning. Have to give it to the Yanks though they are consistant. Sure they can buy talent but talent doesn't win games. Hard work and dedication does.

Jeana:  That sounds like some wonderful camera.  But... since you were at the baseball game... can it cook hot dogs, too ?

Praful, Congrats indeed, they almost didn't make it as I think they lost 14 games recently. Just shows that if you work hard for something you can achieve it.

Doug, Let's see what happens in the playoffs. The Red Sox are always an excellent team.

Karen, Not that I know of, lol, but I did use it as I was eating a hot dog.  To impress you further, It has a GPS feature so that it keeps track of where you took a photo. Pretty cool.

Patrick, Thanks, and what is the team you enjoy?

GO YANKEES!!!  I will be wearing my jersey on Wednesday!  They only came to Seattle once this year *tear* but I went to all the games and we have this amazing bullpen where you can watch them warm up.  I got not only one but 2 balls....one of them was Joba's warm up ball!  I leave for NY on Saturday for 10 days....no better place to be during the playoffs baby!
