It's great when you hear people say positive things like "failure is not an option" but can a phrase make something true? I don't know that there are too many agents shouting this from mountain tops these days. Failure is an option especially if you don't take the time to investigate potential listings before getting in your car. You will fail at selling a home if pertinent information is withheld. It's not that financially distressed homes can't be sold but that information needs to be known so the correct process that be followed. Ever talk with a potential client and you can just tell there is something they are not telling you? Don't rush at getting paperwork signed and homes on the market. Take the time to get your ducks in a row so you can be successful.
Same concept carries over to potential buyers. You aren't putting people in your car without pre-approvals are you? You clearly understand their timelines and they have realistic needs and wants right?
