5 Comments on Home Grown, Victoria's Public Markets
Victoria must be the best place in the country for home grown fruits and vegeables. You are really lucky to be living in such a blessed corner of our great country. There's very little excuse for people not to be buying such great produce grown right at their doorsteps.
Hi Malcolm,
thank you for visiting and your kind comments, it is very interesting how the popularity of growing, producing and buying local is growing is starting to have a real impact. Some municipalities are even starting to look at amending zoning bylaws to allow for micro-farming.

Peter & Linda,
I always go to my friendly local farmer for produce. It is always fresh picked and the price is always reasonable. I always miss it during the winter months. Produce from the grocery stores just doesn't taste the same, especially in the winter.

Hi Brigita,
Thank you for your comments, we are fortunate that our climate is very mild year round, but you are correct, nothing tastes like home grown.
