Home Grown, Victoria's Public Markets

In one of our previous posts we have touched on the rise in popularity in Greater Victoria Community Markets, buying locally grown or produced products and the initiative of a local society to bring a permanent public market back to downtown Victoria. 

Today we wanted to offer you a list of locations and days of the of all the Markets that we have been able to find information about.  Most of the Markets are seasonal and will come to a close for the season over the next few weeks.

We hope that if you have an opportunity, to visit our local public markets and enjoy some of the amazing products, produce, and foods offered by local producers and growers. Supporting local producers is one small step towards a bit more sensible use of our resources, and it just plain fun to do.

With this many different Greater Victoria Local Community Markets it is really no surprise that there is a number of people that call for creating a permanent  location for a enclosed Public Market in a Central location in Victoria.
