For many this is that long-awaitedDay # 30 from the 30 Posts in 30 Days Challenge. Pat and Wayne Harriman even provided us with that famous countdown clock showing when the first post would have to be made in order to start the 30 Posts in 30 Days challenge and be eligible for bonus points. There are some who started after Sept. 1st with a goal to blog every day for 30 consecutive days, even though the time had run out for bonus points. (Hats off to them - Even though they will not get bonus points, they will get the benefit from consistent blogging.)
You can see a collection of Day Number 30 posts here. It is for Day # 30 Posts and/or a summary post about the 30in30 challenge and what it has meant for those who participated. Do stop by there and take a look.
If you participated in the 30in30, then add your Day 30 post to the collection. There is a variety perspectives. Some wrote about the advantages of daily blogging. A few pointed out some drawbacks. Many posted about what they learned during their 30in30.
What is significant is that we learned from each other. We have learned more about the resources of Active Rain and made new friends. Many of the 30in30 participants had featured posts during their 30 Days. For some it was their first feature.
Special thanks to Karen Bernetti with her post that sparked much of the interest in the current 30 Posts in 30 Days Challenge. Here is another post where she encouraged people to jump in. I don't know how many have taken up the challenge, but it seems to be quite a few.
Here is an post with information about bonus points available for 30 posts in 30 Days during August and Sept. 2010.
