New Jersey has a wide variety of places to live, work, raise a family and enjoy sports, recreation, entertainment, fine dining and great shopping.
To determine the location(s) that best satisfy your needs for buy property, you first have to understand that New Jersey is roughly divided geographically into a North and South, each with it's own unique flavor, center of focus, and even common speech patterns.
The state is officially divided into counties and then municipalities.
Some post office and census designated areas may also be located within a NJ municipality, but when searching for property listed on a New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (MLS), all properties will be found listed within their official NJ municipality name, even though the community may be better known by another name.
For example, Marlton, NJ is officially Evesham Township. So, when looking for property in Marlton, NJ you must search within Evesham Township.
Now that you have this basic understanding, you are ready to begin your search.
